BLOG
Political economy is not immune to the frenetic circulation of contents that characterizes the contemporary world. Every week new materials are released from different corners, adding novel perspectives or expanding current and old but ever relevant debates. Tracking this permanent construction and de-construction of schools, theories and empirical works is a necessary step in the challenge to build bridges between the generation of new knowledge and its practical use. In the particular case of Political Economy, there is an intrinsic orientation towards critical aspects of capitalism’s current developments that can and must provide insights to the general audience beyond academia. With the purpose of monitoring, summarizing and discussing the importance of the main current contributions in Political Economy, as well as to bring these contributions to a broader audience, we create this blog in which young scholars from everywhere can contribute with articles ranging from ecological studies to monetary debate.
